Why doesn't my Yardman riding mower have any spark?

Either your spark plug is bad, your plug wire or boot has a short. Or your timing is off on your flywheel.

With that one if you are POSITIVE you have no spark then you need to replace the riding mower's coil. Just follow the plug wire up from the spark plug, it leads to the coil. They are easy to replace, usually just a few screws holding it down. That will renew your spark.

you need to check the spark plug and wire. also the cutoff switch may be jammed. you might even check the magneto.
