Why does the filter keep coming off my AC?

The reason your filter keeps coming off your ac is you more than likely you have the wrong size filter. Read your owners manual and it will give you the right size filter.

It sounds like your filter is not securely fastened on the AC unit or perhaps you have the wrong size filter, try duct tape to hold it in place.

more than likely there are tabs broken that hold in the filter or it could be from not being installed correctly.

Your filter is probably coming off of your AC because you have the wrong size filter in place. Double check the measurement and try putting in a new filter. It could also be very dirty and the return is not able to provide enough suction.

Filters that do not properly fit will not stay in place on your air conditioner. You may also want to check for missing clips that hold the filter in place.

It may be coming off because the filter may be the wrong size, or the access door needs to be closed and the hold down screw needs to be replace
