Why does my jaw keep popping?

Answer by  Sikkim (65)

I have a popping jaw too, but my dentist assures me that there is nothing to worry about unless it gets stuck or you start to feel pain. Try not to do the motions that create the popping, but an occasional pop here or there is nothing to worry about.

Your jaw may be popping due to a problem with your Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ). It can lead to painful opening and closing of the jaw over time, and it is recommended that you visit a dentist to have it properly examined.
