Why does my head itch all the time?

You either have lice, which you need to be checked and treated for immediately, or you have a dry scalp, which you can use moisturizing shampoo to solve.

An itchy head might mean that there is product or oil buildup on the scalp. It might also indicate an allergy to a specific product.

You are most likely suffering from dry scalp. Massage olive oil into your scalp 2-3 times per week, leaving on for 20 minutes, then shampoo as usual.

If the itch is located at the nape of the neck and/or behind the ears, have someone chech for lice. Lice are very common in school settings.
