Dogs can have dry skin for many reasons but it is usually because they are not getting enough fats in their diet. You vet can prescribe omega 3 fatty acid capsules for dry skin. They work great and are fairly cheap. Also make sure your dog isnt exposed to the sun for long periods of time.
