Cats lick people's skin because they crave the sulfites (salts) we have naturally occuring in our skin, sweat is salt water pretty much.

Your cat is doing this as a source of affection and attachment. This is an act of bonding. If it is annoying, wear sleeves that bother the cat's tongue.
