Why does my car shift rough between 20 and 30 mph?

This can occur if the syncronisers inside the transmission are wearing or if there is damage or wear to the vavle body of an automatic transmission which help it shift smoothly. The first thing to check is the fuild level after that id change the filter and screen, that also allows to to check the valve body.

It could be the the transmission which could mean adding more transmission fluid to your car. This is the most easiest solution however, if continue you may need to get your transmission checked.

Its one of the most common gears it could be getting worn out. You might me low on transmission fluid also.
