Why does my auto alarm set itself while I am driving?

What you are dealing with is the previous owner put in a detailed personal profile for the alarm system. Your car thinks you are stealing it. Simply reprogram it.

It may have been properly installed. Have someone check to make sure it is wired correctly. Automatic locking doors may be what is causing the system to arm while driving.

While driving the auto alarm can not be set off becasue, the alaram is only activated when the vehicle is turned off to strenghten security. If the alarm goes off while you are driving then that is a clear signal that something is malfunctioning inside the alarm system, and should be taken to a auto shop.
