Why does he not respect me?

Did he respect you when he married you, or did you get married for other reasons? Most of the time, a person has to command respect. By that I don't mean to be overbearing, but to be respectful toward him as well and not to accept anything less from him.

To get respect you have to respect yourself and you must demand respect! Now, a man cannot disrespect you unless you allow it. There is no reason why any woman should tolerate being treated and spoken to in an ugly, disrespectful manner. Tell your husband that you are no longer going to tolerate his behavior and its going to stop!
