We have pain to allow us to understand what our body is feeling. In other words, we feel the nerve-endings' sensations. Without pain, we would not be able to feel all the more-pleasant sensations in life.

Its a mechanism that humans and animals share as a survival trait. Its similar to the whole, Put your hand on the stove- Pull away since it hurts- Don't do it again. Its really just a gauge to tell when there's damage going on in the body

Pain is a necassary protective measure that our brain and body uses to keep us from hurting ourselves and to tell use when we are injured or ill. Without it, we would not know when to seek help or how to avoid injury and death. As unpleasant as it is, it is a survival necessity.

Nobody knew the factual reason why we feel pain especially when we lost something or someone. All I know is when I'm in pain, I cry.

we have pain on our bodies when new things are growing for instance, when your wisdom teeth are trying to push out. Also when our anti cells die, they hurt, we also have pain because of the way we live our lives. If you are an active person, when your body overworks, it hurts.
