Brown edges are a sign that this portion of the leaf is dead. Those particular leaves may be nearing the end of their life cycle.

Tulip trees grow very large and may top out at 30 to 50 feet. They enjoy full sun and live in dense forests as well. The problem maybe that your tree just needs more space.

These leaves are brown due to that they are dried up. Water your tree more often and keep it in partial shade.
