Why do my Jeep headlights flash?

If the headlights are flashing intermittently it could be because of a loose connection or a bad relay. If there is a pattern or tempo to the flashing it could be an issue with the jeeps security system. Make sure the headlight sockets are firmly installed on the back of the bulb and make sure the relay is firmly seated.

The flashing can be caused by a few things. The most likely is that you have a short in the wire somewhere and when your jeep hits a bump the wire rubs or is exposed and so the lights will flash. The other cause could be a bad bulb.

you may have a drop or increase in voltage. you may need to check your voltage regulator. also check for any shorts in wiring.
