This is most likely caused by worms, and worms are common in kittens. Take a stool sample to the vet and this MUST be treated, it can be very harmful.

To be completely sure, you should always take your cat to a vet when there a major changes to the stool. Color, flecks, and consistency should always be paid attention to. Bring a sample of the stool with white dots into your vet so they can run test on it.

It is very common for kittens to get internal parasites and white dots in stool is normally an indication of intestinal infestation of tapeworms. Take a sample to a veterinarian and have it checked and get the kitten some de-wormer while you are there.
