Why do I have pain in the back right bottom of my head?

Pain is a common symptom. Tightness in neck muscles, tension headache, cervical spine arthritis, dental conditions and more produce head pain. If frequent, see a physician for diagnosis and treatment.

Depending on where exactly the pain is you may likely be experience myofascial pain. The musculature in that area is often affected from our daily activities and are often to source of "tension headaches". You may also have something more serious, although not likely. I would recommend you have this evaluated by your PCP, chiropractor, or physical therapist.

If you have pain the back bottom right of your head, it could be that you are sleeping in a way that causes discomfort to your skull. A more severe problem could be a small tumor that is either pushing against your skull, or pushing fluid into places it does not belong.

It is possibly caused by a tense or pulled neck muscle at the place where the neck meets the base of the head.

This can be stress related or the upper neck can be out of wack. A chiropractor adjustment could be helpful and line things up again and relieve you of pain.

This is due to neck strain. Try to make sure you keep your head directly above your shoulders. Make sure you do it all the time.

This could be a sign of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Other nerve entrapment problems could be causing, such as neck and back issues. Most nerves are tied to problems with your spinal column. Permanent nerve damage could occur if not resolved, so it's important to have your doctor diagnose you quickly.

I have four possible reasons for that. It could be from a high blood pressure, pinched nerve, sitting too long in front of your computer or somebody hit you in the head while you were drunk.
