As most people use their right side as their dominant side their left side is more dormant. Meaning your first stride in a walk or run is started with your right side. Leaving you left side less used hence more fatty.

Often times, one side of our body is larger than the other, naturally. This is because we use one side more and the muscles and fat cells build up quicker on that side. If you're seriously concerned, or it's really out of balance, consult your doctor.

If you are an avid exerciser you may be working one side more than the other. It is possible to neglect one half and not even know it. Try exercises that work your entire body.

People tend to have more fat on the side that they use less. What I mean is that if one is right handed, they tend to use their right side more offend causing an uneven amount of fat on each side. So, more exercize is done on that side.
