This is completely normal as your hormones are moving rapidly, preparing an egg to fall and create all sorts of unique sensitivity in many areas of the body (cravings, breast tenderness, etc. ). Also, your bacteria levels in the vaginal walls are heightened for protection for up to a week before shedding begins.

The itching right before one period is found amongst many ladies. The best and cheapest way to get rid os it is you must first wash yourself in hot water with a tablespoon of water for half litre of water keep doing so three or four times it will be relieved. Never keep changing soaps for this.

Itching normally when your body is trying to fight some foreign organism that is trying to cause trouble on your skin. The body releases "histamines". Maintaining hygiene would help.
