Gurgling in the large intestine is a normal thing which reflects contraction and relaxation of muscular portion of intestinal wall. It usually happens when there is no food in the intestines to digest, so the contractions are stronger.

You could be hungry. If this is the case, try eating something. If not, then you might have indigestion or an upset stomach. You could take Pepto Bismol or Gas-Ex to try to get rid of it. You might have to go to the bathroom. You could take a laxative to try to feel better.

Gurgling in the large intestine normally happens shortly after eating and is normally caused by the food passsing through your intestinal system and digesting. Before a bowel movement, it is also common to feel gurgling in your large intestine. It is mostly normal, unless severe pain is associated with gurgling.

This is the sound of air bubbles in your intestines. You may be hungry. In some cases this may be a symptom of crohns disease or IBS. You should see a doctor.
