Why can't you use a PO Box as an address on a lot of things?

One reason is that the owner of a PO Box can't be confirmed the way a home owner can be. The sender could be held liable for missing or damaged goods that are sent to a PO box. Additionally, fraud can be carried out by someone who uses a PO box to receive goods bought with a stolen credit card.

Because PO Box's are so small and the post office cannot hold objects larger than the size of the mailbox opening. Check with your local post office-you might be able to rent a larger PO Box to have larger box's sent.
