Do W-9s require a physical address or is a PO Box OK?

My mailing address is a P.O.Box and it is perfectly fine to list it as the contact address. The IRS requires that you list the current usable address where the United Postal Service can deliver your mail, even if it is a P.O. Box.

The Internal Revenue Service will accept a P.O. Box as an employee's address. A physical address is not specifically required,

You can use a PO BOX for a W-9, as long as there is an correct address to mail the W-9. You should also call the company that you are looking for in order to complete to correct address and change if needed in order to get your W-9 mailed to you quickly.
