Why aren't Democrats honest?

I think it is really a questions of why aren't politicans honest. Democrats and Republicans, alike, are notorious for misstating, obscuring and otherwise being evasive in their descriptions, lines of questioning and narratives. The reality is that politicans want the public's approval and so they say what they believe the public wants to hear, not the truth.

in a fervent attempt to keep up with the Republicans the Democratic National Party has traded in Honesty for the hype it tries so desperately to rebuttal.
