Why are there competitions between blonds and brunettes?

There are competitions between blondes and brunettes because some people think that a persons hair color reflects on that person and their physical as well as mental abilities.

I believe Brunettes are intimidated by blonds only because if we look back in history blonds come from the Swiss, Norwegian regions. They were the "true" natural blonds with blue eyes. When they came to US soil, they were looked upon as beautiful creatures with light hair and fair skin.
