You can get the moles even if you have spent a little time in the sun without any sun protection such as a sunscreen or hat.

Even if you do not spend a great deal of time in the sun, you may have developed skin cancer, I would get it checked out but a dermatologist as soon as possible.

It could be inherited, or it could also be skin cancer. Stay out of the sun and wear extra protection. Go make a visit to the doctor.

For moles not associated with sun damage or pregnancy hormones, you need to be seen by a dermatologist to determine exactly the cause.

The skin cells called melanocytes are present on dermal or epidermal layers of skin, produce melanin that gives color to our skin. Sometimes, melanocytes grow in a cluster in one area, forming moles. The reasons for such abnormal growth are aging process, exposure to UV radiation from sunlight and sometimes hereditary conditions.
