He was just a cool teen they created for the show. He is the main character of this classic show and holds the whole show together. There is no real life inspiration.

He was the the best looking one in the show and the funny one. He was the one that everyone knew and the principal always wanted to have to say something to the most popular student in the school. In one of the episode he would be the class clown.
