Who was Kahlil Gibran who wrote "The Prophet?" Did he write anything else?

I went to a wedding recently where they had a reading from "The Prophet."

Gibran was a Lebanese poet/writer. He is the third best-selling poet of all time, after Shakespeare and Lao-Tzu. He has several titles listed on Amazon.

He did write 'The Prophet'. Some of his other works in English include: 'The Madman', 'Twenty Drawings', 'The Forerunner', 'Sand and Foam', 'Kingdom of the Imagination', 'Jesus, The Son of Man', and 'The Earth Gods'. He wrote many more in Arabic.

Kahlil Gibran was a Lebanese poet and artist who emigrated to Boston. His works include 11 books in English, though the best known is The Prophet.

Kahlil Gibran was a Lebanese mystic who wrote poems about the nature of man. Most of his writings were accompanied by drawings or paintings, mostly drawings. He wrote Jesus the Son of Man, considered one of the classics of our time. Many believe that he was a genius.
