L'enigme de Guillaume Tell, or the Enigma of William Tell, was painted by surrealist Salvador Dali. Dali conceived the oil painting upon canvas in 1933 based on the folk legend William Tell, who is famous for shooting an arrow off a person's head with a crossbow.
