Who is the author of Proverbs?

King Solomon, the son of King David, is the author of the book of Proverbs in the Bible. He also penned the Song of Solomon. Someone else by the name of King Lemuel may have written up to two chapters in the book of Proverbs however. King Solomon is said to have been the wisest man to walk the earth.

The authorship given in the book is, Solomon the son of David, King of Israel. However, nobody is sure who ACTUALLy wrote it. Many people may have contributed to it.
