He's the current ruler of the country of Monaco. His father was Prince Ranier and his mother was Grace Kelly. Before marrying and becoming Princess Grace, she was an Oscar winning film star. Prince Albert has two sisters, Caroline and Stephanie. He's engaged to a former South African Olympic swimmer named Charlene Wittstock.

He is vice chairman of the charity that was founded after his mother's death, The Princess Grace Foundation-USA that supports emerging artists in theater, dance and film. He will be married in July 2011.
