Burt Munro was a man from New Zealand who became famous in motorcycle racing and land speed circles for racing a 1920 Indian Scout on the Utah Salt Flats in the 1960's. He had bought the Indian new in 1920 and over the next 40 years modified it until he was able to win 3 world land speed records.
