Taste buds in humans are different across the board, but there is no specific difference between men and women. For example, some people have more sour taste buds than sweet. This makes them desire more sour foods.

I think that men and women have the same taste buds. I think it all depends on how you eat or drink. If you take your time and actually taste the food your using your taste buds more. Also take into consideration if someone smokes. People who smoke don't have as strong of taste buds.
