Who founded hinduism?

There is no specifice founder of the religion Hinduism. There has been a lot of research which attempts to discover who founded this religion but no significant progress has been made. What makes this more difficult is that the people who wrote many of the sacred texts is also unknown.

For a long time people sought an answer to this, but it is pretty much agreed upon, now, that hinduism is more like a collection of philosophies.
