Depending on the type of style that you are doing I would use a white trim in order to make a blank canvas if you are interested in matching the rest of the bathroom. You can also paint them if you like in order to match the decor without having to replace the entire trim.

Try something with low reflectivity such as pewter. Pewter fixtures add a sense of sturdy elegence but are durable and not distastful or overbaring. You may also consider sculptured glass, its affordable and easy to apply.

The trim should be as per our choice. It can be light and it can painted to match the background of the bathroom. The shower can be covered with a plastic and glass. small small colored lights can be provided above that glass , which will give a good look with reflections.

You need to get a trim that is designed to go in a bathroom or one that can be treated to withstand the conditions it will be exposed to in a bathroom.
