For both the bolt action and semi-automatic AR15 rifles, the brand is not as important as accurizing the rifle once you have it. However, excellent brands are Sako, Remington 700, Weatherby (bolt action), and Colt, Knights Armament, & Noveske (AR15). Accurizing includes free-floating the barrel, adjusting the trigger, etc. Bullet weight and barrel twist also determine accuracy of any rifle.

A rifles accuracy is mostly determined by the shooter. Each rifle, regardless of manufacturer, is factory tested to shoot straight or it cannot be sold. If you're rifle isn't accurate it has been damaged.
