Which fast food chain makes the best milkshakes?

The best milk shakes would have to come from Jack in the Box. They are by far the best that I've tasted from all the major food chains. Whataburger's shakes come in a close second, followed by Dairy Queen's, Burger King's. Applebee's has a pretty decent shake, but it's pricier than the others.

The best milk shake that I have ever had I would have to say would have to be from McDonalds.. there choclate milkshake is just the best.

Suprisingly Hardees seems to keep to tradition in acually using real ice cream in their shakes rather than an ice cream substitue like what Mcdonalds, Steak and Shake, or Wendy's uses. Unfortunatly though they all use synthetic flavouring syrups, rather than real ingredients.

There is a fast food chain in Oregon and Washington state called Burgerville and they have the hands-down best milkshakes with fresh ingredients and no preservatives.

Although some may not consider a Wendy's Frosty a milkshake, it is by far the best milkshake-like-substance I have ever tasted.

1) Jack In The Box: Nicest and thickest shakes of the bunch. 2) McDonald's: Also nice and thick shakes. 3) Dairy Queen: Good shakes. 4) Wendy's: Good, but their Frosty isn't technically a shake (it's more of a straight ice cream).
