Generally for newer cars the dealership would probably have the alternator you're looking for in stock. Of course, you will pay a premium buying it directly from them. Shopping at AutoZone, Napa, Advanced Auto Parts, etc. will save you some money especially if you can purchase a refurbished unit, however they may need to special order the product for you.

You could get one from either a dealership or auto parts store like Autozne or Advacne. The dealership will sell you oem brand parts at a slightly higher price though.
