Michael Jordan is certainly not a Canadian! Many believe he was born in North Carolina, but he was actually born in Brooklyn, New York. His family relocated to North Carolina when he was a baby and he considers that his primary home. He went to UNC and has been involved with other NC sports teams since retirement.

Michael Jordan, the famous basketball player is not a Canadian. He was born in the United States on February 17, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York. Later, his family moved to North Carolina where he played college ball. Then it was on to the Chicago Bulls and a career as the best basketball player ever.
