Where is the speedometer connection on a Hyundai Sonata automatic transaxle?

The connector is going to be behind the dash and it plugs into the back of it to show you your speed. It is easy to replace but it is hard to get in behind the dash to actually get to it. It also plugs into the transaxle by the steering linkage.

It's usually above the passenger side axle on the transaxle housing. Depending on the year. If it's 2000 or up, it runs off a speed sensor on the transaxle case.

the connection is somewhere near the driveshaft as it goes into the transmission. this is at the rear of the transmission.
