Where is the encoder strip located on a Lexmark x2250 printer?

To get to the encoding strip you have to remove the front cover and gently remove the cartridge carrier to the center of the printer then remove the cartridge using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the left hand side ad there is your encoder strip.

Open the printer's front cover: Pinch the top of the printer's carrier belt, gently move the cartridge carrier to the center of the printer, remove the printer's ink cartridges. Using the carrier belt, move the printer's cartridge carrier over to the left-hand side of the printer. You will see a transparent gray strip, this is your encoding strip.

Lexmark x2250 printer encoder strip is located under front cover and above the carrier belt. Carrier belt should be gently moved so cartridge carrier is positioned at the center of the printer. After removing cartridges proceed with moving cartridge carrier to the left side.
