Cypress Point golf course is located on the Monterey Peninsula in California. There are not any gold tournaments played at the course. This is because the PGA refuses to hold events there because the club is known for being discriminatory when deciding who can become members. The PGA does not want to support such an act.

Cypress Point is a highly exclusive private club in Monterey CA. The club itself has one of the most famous picturesque holes in all of golf. The famed #16 requires a carry over the ocean to green perched on a cliff outcropping.
