Samoa. The official name is the 'Independent State of Samoa' located in the South Pacific. Samoa is a collection of two large islands and seven small islands - halfway between Hawaii and New Zealand. All the native people of the collective Pacific Islands are called Polynesians.
He's probably from the Samoan Islands, though I suppose he could be from Samoa, California, hard to say for sure. The islands though are located in the South Pacific, off the coast from Australia.
