Where do wild rabbits give birth?

They will dig out a small burrow and line it with dried grass. Then they will pluck fur from their chest and lay this over the dried grass. The mother raises the babies on her own, without the help of the father.

Rabbits will build their nests anywhere near stable ground and territory so it would safe to say rocks or large areas of woodland would be a place to give birth.

Wild rabbits generally tend to give birth in their underground burrows. This is a safe place for the mother to give birth and for the vulnerable babies to survive.

Rabbits can give birth wherever they are. maybe it is in their home/nest that they have underground where its nice and warm especially for the winter times when its really cold.

Generally somewhere that other wild animals cannot get to their babies. Usually a rabbit will find a little cave like shelter to raise it's young in that is both protected from the elements and the wild creatures but that the Mom can see out of to make sure nothing is coming.
