Bag Borrow or Steal is a play on words for the expression "Beg Borrow or Steal." The expression which dates back to the late 1300's means "to aquire or get by any means necessary." The medieval English author Geoffrey Chaucer used it in his work "The Tale of the Man of Law" written around 1387.
