Artifical flowers can be found at most mass retailers like Wal-Mart or K-Mart as well as craft stores like Michael's or Joann's or Frank's Nursery and Crafts. Some florists also carry them.

It depends on what kind of fake flowers you want. Target sells fake flowers that come on long stems, and it is very hard to separate the flowers from the rubber stems. Michael's craft stores sell small cloth flowers for relatively cheap, but personally, I think they look fake. Googling "fake flowers" may bring you more luck and variety.
