Where can I find a Venus Flytrap for sale?

This year, my students really enjoyed a reading selection in the basal reader about Venus Flytraps. As a treat, I decided to buy each of my students a plant. After searching a few of the major home improvement stores like Lowes and Home Depot I came up empty handed.I finally found them at the Wal-Mart garden center.

To find a Venus Flytrap in person would be very difficult. The easiest way is searching online and finding websites of breeders.

Look at locally owned or specialty garden centers. They are more likely to carry specialty items to attract customers. They are usually located in the succulent section of the store.

I have seen them at walmart before you can also go to any greenhouse and tell them what you are looking for and if they don't have one in stock they will be able to order it for you and let you know when it's in and then you can come in and pick it up.
