You can easily find videos on YouTube. com. Just search for "crocheting for beginners" or "learn to crochet. " Alternatively, you can also google for text instructions, but I personally prefer videos as I don't have to imagine how step 3 came from step 2.

Written instructions are hard to follow for beginners because they just don't make sense. You can find websites that have still pictures of each step, but the best way to find easy to follow instructions is to look on websites that have videos, including websites that are collections of videos. You can watch the video over and over.

There are great books at the library that go step by step with the stitched. They have pictures so you know what the stitches look like. Go to a crochet club and get help from the experts.

The best way to learn how to crochet is to learn from someone face to face, maybe ask someone who is shopping for yarn at a craft store.
