Try watching any movies that focus on that period of time as it depends whether you are looking for costumes for royalty or more of a peasant. Think about peasant style tops, corsets, full skirts, and simple shoes for females. For peasants mainly solid colors will be used in the clothing.

There are many books about the medieval times with excellent pictures from which you can get ideas about costume/ authentic clothing. Also try the internet, I'm sure there will be images available
