Be careful when getting paid online,especially for surveys.There are plenty of scams out there trying to take advantage of those who want easy money.I know that mechanical turk is owned by and has plenty of legitimate ways to get paid by taking surveys, but also has scammers lurking about.

The best sites I have found for getting paid for surveys are Opinion Outpost, Swagbucks Trusted Surveys page, PineCone, and Neilson Digital. Toluna is fairly good as well.

Volition is one of the best sites on the internet for getting paid. It has links to getting paid for mystery shopping, reading emails and especially for taking free surveys. SurveyClub is another site that has a good reputation for paying people for taking surveys. Be warned that it takes a lot of surveys to make even a little money.
