Where can I get free applique patterns?

If you google "free applique patterns" you should be able to find a whole bunch of websites dedicated to patterns, but you could also make your own patterns. Just find an image, for example from a coloring book, magazine, etc. Then you just cut it out, and then cut your applique from your fabric.

There are some great patterns available online - all you need is an internet connection and a good printer. Also, your local library likely will have a wide selection on quilting/applique books. Simply choose some books that you like and then make photocopies of the patterns in the patterns you like in each book.

Type in free applique patterns in google and you will get a wide variety to choose from. I get all my patterns free.
