Where can I find a pattern or a special pan to make a fish cake?

I need instructions on how to finish it, too.

Several stores that carry speciality home products like William Sonoma, Bass Pro Shops, and Cabela's outdoor should have fish shaped pans or cut an oblong cake into a fish pattern by cutting a fish pattern. Ice the cake and make swirls to simulate scales and use candies for the eyes.

To make a fish cake take a look at some on various birthday party related websites. You don't need a special pan, you can bake round layers and cut into body, fins and tail shapes, then decorate with candies or colored frosting for details.

There are several at Amazon. I looked at one called CK Products Pantastic Plastic Cake Pan (it's a good idea to away from aluminum). It's less than $10, and on the site it says instructions are included. There are others as well, like some candy sea creatures molds, you can try a search.
