Where can I find miniature woodworking tools?

Your local hardware or hobby store would be most likely. If you would like to buy them online. A quick google search brings up tons of websites so I highly doubt you wont be able to find what your looking for. I suggest either Micro Marks or Miniature Tools. They seem to have the best selections.

There are multiple sets of miniture woodworking tools at amazon. Ordering them from amazon will cost between $25 and $100

Minature wood working tools can be found in alot of hobby and model catalogs. A good source is Micro-Mark. The carry a nice assortment of modeling tools and machinery. The have a web site on the internet.You can also find some hand tools at most hobby and craft stores. Pick up a model railraod magazine and look at the ads.

There are a few different types of stores that carry miniature woodworking tools. The easiest and most prevalant would be a arts and crafts supply store. A place like A.C Moore or Michael's Arts and Crafts would have a nice assortment of these. Also, hardware stores would probably be able to help.

Hobby Lobby, if there is one in your area, is great for woodworking in general. They have an entire section. You can also check their website. You may also want to check Ebay or Amazon.

Most large craft stores offer miniature woodworking tools. Crafter's Corner and Micheal's are a couple that you should check with. You may also be able to find them at hardware stores like Lowe's and Home Depot. Wal-mart caries a limited amount in their craft section, but the selection is pretty small.

The easiest place to track these down would be online. Failing that try a hobby store. I prefer Hobby Lobby. You'll want to make sure the kit has an adequate supply of balsa wood (its the best for minature sets). You'll also need a saw, hammer, chisel and a woodburning steno.

Local craft stores carry miniature woodworking kits. Walmart sometimes has some in their crafts department. You may find some while shopping online.
