They are everywhere. Start with your school's financial aid office. Then contact the Department of Education of the state you are going to school in and ask them. Your FAFSA form will help you get grants. Contact the Representative for your district in your state and ask them too.

I know of no specific grant for books. Pell grants cover books, however, as well as other things. If you cannot find a grant, consider renting instead of buying.

From what i know, there aren't too many grants for books however what you get in grant money, you can use towards your books. if you do an internet search, you can also come across sites that are informative and will tell you how to apply for grants and scholarships.

The best place to start would be the government's web site which has a link for grants; also, check with your library for a grant database.

Schools each year are becoming increasingly harder to pay for. In these cases books from the library or online sites help students get the help they need through grants and scholarships.
